About Christi Thomas

Christi grew up in a family that was always in search of the perfect rock and has been making jewelry since childhood. This passion still holds as she searches for the ultimate components for her timeless designs. She has an extensive back ground in art, graphic design, advertising and marketing. She also spent years developing and marketing jewelry for a national jewelry manufacturer, giving her a natural base for her business, Christi Designs.

Christi’s work is the perfect combination of classic design and up to the minute sophistication. She believes that her jewelry should be eminently wearable and not something only brought out for special occasions. With this in mind she ensures that her work is accessible and affordable.

Christi’s creations are comprised primarily of pearls, natural gemstones, Swarovski crystal and Sterling silver. Each piece is handcrafted with special care given to the overall impact of color and the interaction of the chosen components. No two pieces are exactly alike due to the nature of the materials she works with and the uniqueness of the creative process.

Charitable contributions are an important part of Christi’s business. In fact, most of her retail outlets are affiliated with The Seton Family of Hospitals in the Austin area, whose profits go to supporting medical care for those in need.
